RoleMake a meaningful impact by leading the delivery of the country Education portfolio, including British Council global programmes in tertiary education partnerships, and client-funded initiatives. Ensure the successful end-to-end delivery of projects and programmes through effective contract or project plan management, stakeholder engagement, and the achievement of reporting requirements and compliance standards. Accountabilities Relationship & Stakeholder ManagementManaging stakeholder and partner relationships.Building strong internal and external networks.Holding suppliers accountable for delivery. Commercial and Financial ManagementSupporting financial planning, forecasting, and reporting.Monitoring budgets, expenditure, and financial performance.Ensuring compliance with financial policies and processes. Project ManagementSupporting project planning, procurement, and risk management.Managing data, monitoring, and reporting activities.Ensuring quality delivery and compliance across projects. Business DevelopmentSupporting proposal development with EDI integration.Collaborating on proposal costing and pricing.Managing reporting for funded programmes and initiatives. Qualifications Essential: Degree and/or equivalent experience Professional Qualification and Certification Project management or equivalent qualification or equivalent work experience Role Specific Knowledge and Experience Experience of managing projects from start to finish and familiarity with project life cycles.Understanding of procurement, evaluation and reporting requirements of projects.Proven experience of managing project finances.Experience of managing stakeholders Project management qualification desirable.Hands-on experience managing projects or programmes across multiple stakeholders.Experience of using technology and project delivery.Good understanding and experience of supporting monitoring and evaluation.Experience and understanding of the tertiary education sector including Transnational Education and Internationalisation agenda Important Information: Language Requirements: Proficient written and spoken English and BanglaPay Band: 6Department: EducationWorking Arrangement: OnsiteLocation/Country: Dhaka, BangladeshClosing Date: 02 September 2026 at 11:59 PM IST and 03 September 2026 00:29 AM BSTProof of Identity requirements/right to work in country: Candidates should ensure they have the pre-existing legal right to live and work in the country where the role is based.
