Hiring: Senior Electrical Engineer – Media Routing & Cable Harness

Location: Stockholm, Sweden

• Work Model: Hybrid – 3 days/week onsite
• Remote: 50%

About the Role

• We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join an exciting automotive project focused on media routing, cable harness design, and cab systems.
• You will work closely with design, production, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions and support successful product introductions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and verify media routing for steering wheel, steering column, and lower storage cable harnesses.
• Optimize cable routing and lengths to reduce variants, wear, and material waste.
• Participate in design reviews and technical discussions.
• Update and review engineering drawings.
• Prepare and manage ECOs, create MRs, order parts, and verify installations.
• Support production during test assemblies and implement improvements through Change Requests (CRs).
• Coordinate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to ensure production readiness and compliance.
• Work within Agile PI Planning and Scrum-based project execution.

Required Skills & Experience

• Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Automotive engineering experience.
• Experience with ECO handling and engineering change management.
• Experience working on large engineering implementation projects.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and supplier communication skills.
• Experience working in fast-paced project environments.

Preferred Skills

• Cable harness and media routing experience.
• Production support and test assembly experience.
• Experience with design reviews and engineering drawing updates.
• Measurement and routing verification.
• Material Request (MR) creation and parts ordering.
• Knowledge of PI Planning, Scrum, or Agile ways of working.

Language Requirements

• English – Professional
• Swedish – Professional
• Additional European languages are an advantage.
