Main Activities and Responsibilities: Support and contribute towards the growth of Technology Systems Consultancy under the guidance of the respective Discipline Leaders, Senior Engineers and Project Leads. Learn and assist with leading small to medium multi-disciplinary projects Supporting key Technology Systems Clients Working across all sectors of the business where Technology Systems assistance as required Assisting other Technology Systems disciplines as required including: i. .Audio Visual ii. ICT (Active Network and Wi-Fi design) iii. ICT (Passive network design) iv. Electronic Security v. Smart Building systems and Integration Assisting other Specialist disciplines as required including: i. Specialist Lighting ii. Acoustics Assist with development of Technical Documentation Attending meetings with Senior Engineer support to develop client briefs Detailed documentation of systems with the guidance of a Senior Engineer Attending training sessions as required for the different Technology Systems disciplines Responsible for delivery; taking ownership of projects as well as tasks. Assisting with consulting reporting and engagement such as: i. Stakeholder engagement and workshops ii. Undertaking Technology Assessments iii. Technology Master planning iv. Technology Feasibility Reports and Strategy Reports to support client business cases Assisting with Engineering detailed design and documentation such as: i. Client Return Briefs ii. Reports iii. Technical Advice iv. Specifications v. Schematics vi. Drawings vii. Detailed sections and installation drawings viii. Opinion of Costs Assist with specialised design and coordination activities including, but not limited to: i. Wi-Fi / RF modelling ii. CCTV camera modelling iii. EASE loudspeaker modelling iv. REVIT / BIM 360 modelling and coordination v. Cable tray and cable containment calculations vi. Power / Heat / Load calculations vii. Coordination mark-ups Coordinate design and documentation with other engineering services and with other team members. Carry out assigned project and design work as delegated in support of technical and commercial standards. Assisting with undertaking contract administration duties on projects as assigned including but not limited to; site inspections, review of shop drawings, assessment of financial claims and variations, commissioning tests and defects inspections. Using a combination of standard and modified Engineering methods/techniques in addition to those developed in previous assignments for the purposes of solving problems. Assisting more Senior Engineers with the analysis of information, production of designs and computations. Work with a Senior Engineers to understand the requirements of typical contracts (e.g. AS4122). Work collaboratively with colleagues from all parts of the WSP business. Working with the Technology Systems Team on developing working methods to ensure technically strong and efficient delivery of all projects. Participating in planning to achieve prescribed objectives Undertake the delivery of projects nationally and throughout the region with the support of the respective Senior Consultants. Attend training as required for the different Technology Systems disciplines Record activities contributing to continuing professional development. Represent the company to a professional standard at-all-times. Participate in activities (discipline, multi-discipline, and others) to extend own knowledge. Contribute as requested to development of engineering support tools for the business. Communicate externally on behalf of the business, both written and verbally to the professional standard expected locally. Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, team members and peers. Comply with procedures set out in ‘The Way’ and the WSP quality system in all projects related work. Comply with all role specific SHEQ obligations. Qualifications Demonstrate innovative work attributes, skills and enthusiasm in relevant discipline. Demonstrate ability to work with a range of internal and external stake holders. Ability to manage time, resource planning and strong organisational skill. Demonstrate ability to resolve conflict, negotiate, think strategically and develop solutions. Excellent and proactive communications skills – Proof of English proficiency required (eg. IELTS score higher) Strong ability to respond to emails, messages and calls in a timely manner Good at setting, managing and hitting goals and deadlines 2 – 3 years relevant professional experience coupled with a Degree in Engineering Associate Diploma, Diploma, Degree or work-based experience. General understanding of one discipline in building services. Experience or understanding of Bluebeam, Revit, Visio and AutoCAD (not essential but advantageous Training on modelling / engineers’ software (Ekahau, EASE, JVSG etc) is advantageous but not essential. Training will be provided. Excellent report writing and analytical skills (very strong in written English) – Proof of English proficiency required (eg.
