Warehouse Operative – Immediate Start – Skilled and Unskilled

Due to continued growth and expansion, we are looking for Warehouse Operatives to join our team.

This is a hands-on role offering the right candidate the opportunity to take real responsibility within a busy warehouse environment, with excellent potential for development and future progression as the company continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities

Picking, packing and shipping customer orders accurately and on time
Receiving stock and putting goods away safely and efficiently
Carrying out physical inventory and equipment checks
Picking and supplying materials for urgent production requirements
Liaising with Customer Service regarding order discrepancies, tracking and delivery issues
Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient warehouse
Cleaning equipment, tools and work areas in accordance with company procedures
Supporting the wider team and following operational instructions as required

What We’re Looking For

The successful candidate will be

Reliable, self-motivated and organised
Accurate, with strong attention to detail
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and prioritising workload
A good communicator with excellent spoken and written English
Computer literate and confident navigating computer systems
Customer-focused and aware of the importance of accurate and timely order fulfilment
Willing to work as part of a team and adapt as the company grows

Previous experience in warehouse operations, materials management, logistics or supply chain would be a strong advantage.
Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, SAP or other ERP systems would also be beneficial.
A Reach Truck or Counterbalance Forklift Licence would be an advantage.

Hours

Standard working week: 40 hours

Overtime is paid for hours worked in excess of 40 hours per week.
