Job Description

An on-call barista is essentially a flexible, as-needed, temporary staff of a regular barista. Instead of fixed schedules, an on-call barista is scheduled only when the store needs extra support, staff shortage, or for special events.

Responsibilities

  • Available to work on short notice
  • Preparing and serving all items of the store’s menu
  • Maintaining cleanliness of the bar, equipment, and dining area
  • Taking customer orders and handling payments
  • Providing friendly, professional, efficient customer service
  • Inventory and restocking of ingredients and supplies

Expectations

  • Strong reliability
  • Ability to commit to short notice schedules with minimal supervision
  • Transparent, honest, consistent
  • Will ensure correct breakdown of items and correct total daily sales to be endorsed to his/her supervisor

Qualifications

  • At least 18 years old (We accept students who would like to earn during the summer break)
  • Willing to be assigned to Ayala Malls The 30th, Pasig City for a 10-hour shift
  • Barista experience is a plus, but not required
  • Must have at least 1 valid ID
  • Willing to undergo one-day training and orientation
