As the Master Data Management Lead , you will play a key role in building and managing the bank's enterprise master data strategy. You will help ensure critical business data is accurate, consistent, and accessible across systems, enabling better customer experiences, regulatory compliance, analytics, and business decision-making. You will work closely with business units, technology teams, and data stakeholders to establish a reliable "single source of truth" across the organization. What You Will Be Doing Lead the development and execution of the bank's Master Data Management (MDM) strategy and roadmap. Manage the full lifecycle of master data, from onboarding and maintenance to distribution and retirement. Oversee data quality initiatives, including data validation, matching, merging, and issue resolution. Partner with Data Engineering teams to build and improve data pipelines and integrations. Define requirements for data models, APIs, and processes that support high-quality master data. Work closely with business units, compliance, risk, operations, and IT teams to address data challenges and opportunities. Guide data stewards and support users through training, documentation, and process improvements. Monitor data quality, platform performance, and operational workflows to ensure reliable data delivery. Support audit, governance, and regulatory requirements by maintaining proper documentation and controls. Help enable analytics, AI, and data-driven initiatives by providing trusted, high-quality data foundations. What Success Looks Like In this role, success means: Trusted and accurate master data is available across critical business systems. Duplicate, inconsistent, and incomplete data issues are significantly reduced. Data quality standards and governance requirements are consistently met. Business teams can easily access reliable data to support decision-making and operations. Data requests, updates, and changes are processed efficiently and within agreed timelines. Strong collaboration exists between business, technology, governance, and analytics teams. New data domains, integrations, and initiatives are implemented smoothly and effectively. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Management, Computer Science, or a related field. At least 3 years of experience in data management, business analytics, research analysis, or related areas. Understanding of Master Data Management concepts such as data quality, matching, survivorship, golden records, and reference data. Experience working with data models, schema changes, and data-related impact assessments. Familiarity with data integration processes and collaboration with Data Engineering teams. Working knowledge of SQL, Python, R, or similar tools for data analysis and management. Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work effectively across multiple teams and business functions. Nice to Have Experience within the banking or financial services industry. Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other visualization tools. Exposure to governance, audit, risk, or regulatory data requirements. Experience supporting AI, analytics, and data monetization initiatives. Familiarity with workflow management tools such as JIRA or ServiceNow.
