S UMMARY : The Project Manager , Procurement works with internal and external partners to manage all aspects of the owner-furnished equipment ( OFE ) supply chain relating to multiple construction projects, from inception to completion of commissioning . This position requires excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills , as well as the ability to work successfully in a team environment under limited supervision . Excellent organizational , time management , and teamwork abilities are a must .

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (to include, but no t limited to)

  • Oversee and direct all project activities related to OFE .
  • Manage and support vendor relationships, ensuring the manufacturing production plans support the individual projects as well as the overall program .
  • Assist in the management of project budgets according to project controls and processes, working within Aligned cost tracking system.
  • Setup , manage, track , and communicate project costs, schedules, and documentation .
  • Own and maintain all administrative duties associated with p roject financials, to include but not limited to: r equests for p roposals, c hange o rders , r equests for PO s , SOVs, forecasts, cost codes, and invoice reconciliation .
  • Rationalize and manage OFE schedules within the overall c onstruction schedule, and work between the c onstruction/ c ontractor teams and the supply chain partners to find the best solutions to balance all schedule needs .
  • Manage all associated documentation (submittals, c omments, etc ) by downloading/uploading across designated s ystems (such as Procore, SharePoint, or similar).
  • Engage with c ommissioning partners to drive best processes and communication to support turnover plans .
  • Foster positive relationships with all internal and external partners , including OFE vendors , construction teams, contractors, f inance/ a ccounting, and e ngineering.
  • Collaborate within the p rocurement team to drive efficiency in processes while maintaining customer needs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business , Engineering , or equivalent (degree or experience) .
  • 5 years’ experience in p roject m anagement (manufacturing, data center, and/or construction) .
  • Supply c hain m anagement experience within d ata c enter s and/or manufacturing .
  • Direct experience managing multi-state operations and multi-million-dollar equipment contracts.
  • High proficiency with c omputer s and industry systems and programs, including but not limited to : Microsoft Office products (especially Exce l), Construction programs (such as Procore, Helix, etc ), database systems, financial systems, Google Suite, internet research, scheduling programs, etc.
  • Superb written , verbal , and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, with strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Desire to work in an extremely fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
  • Must have a strong attention to detail .
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.
  • Ability to travel 25%+ of the time .

Additional desired skills and experience

  • Knowledge of construction/procurement cost estimating methods and development of scopes of work.
  • Ability to interpret critical facility construction drawings and specifications .
  • Ability to understand construction and procurement project scopes.
  • Able to monitor and interpret design and schedule changes and forecast their impact on overall project costs.
  • Awareness and experience with commodity management, raw materials , and production planning .
  • E xperience with data center commissioning .
