Safety Specialist

The jobs in this level are responsible for providing safety services to Dallah staff, property and facilities primarily by inspecting premises, answering emergency request, providing instructions and guidance to the employees across Dallah and ensuring alignment with the safety rules and regulations.

• Implements approved departmental policies and procedures and ensures adherence with the processes implemented so that work is carried out in a controlled manner.
• Implements the day-to-day operations assigned for the Safety to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures.
• Supervises the activities and work of subordinates to ensure that all work within a specific area of the Safety unit activity is carried out in an efficient manner.
• Monitors safety related activities and incidents to ensure that the required action is taken in compliance with the procedures, compliance in different premises.
• Develops reports on safety incidents and updates to ensure that managements and sections are informed accordingly.
• Liaises with fire or ambulance authorities in cases of attendance at emergency incidents and facilitates site entry and exit to ensure expeditious handling of the situation.
• Investigates & reports on incidents to avoid the repetition of occurrence of these incidents and to ensure safety of Dallah’s resources.

Education

• Diploma Degree in Safety

Experience

• 2-4 years of related experience
