Job Responsibilities / Job Brief

We are looking for C++ Developer to join our hedge fund working on the development of Order and Execution Management Systems (OEMS) or Portfolio Management Systems (PMS). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C++ programming and a solid understanding of financial markets and trading systems.

  • Develop and maintain high-performance C++ applications for OEMS or PMS platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and test new features.
  • Optimize existing code for performance and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure smooth operation of the systems.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and best practices in software development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronic engineering or similar engineering background
  • At least 3 years proficiency in C++ programming well versed in modern C++ design principles.
  • Experience working in the development of OEMS or PMS platforms is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of financial markets, trading algorithms, and FIX protocol.
  • Familiarity with databases, data structures, and software development tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
  • A keen interest and understanding of the financial markets and hedge fund strategies.
  • Experience developing distributed systems.
