About The Role

As a forklift operator, you’ll join an innovative plastic recycling company where sustainability and circular economy are at the heart of what we do. In this role, you’ll be responsible for moving plastic waste around the site, loading and unloading trucks, and performing minor technical maintenance. Your work directly contributes to recycling plastic and building a greener future.

On a typical workday, you’ll work in one of two shifts: early shift from 5 AM to 2 PM, or late shift from 2 PM to 11 PM (sometimes 3 PM to 12 AM), always with a one-hour break. You’ll use a wheel loader and forklift to efficiently process plastic waste. Flexibility is important, as the shift schedule can vary slightly. Please note, the nature of recycling means the work environment can be less clean and sometimes involve odors. You’ll handle small technical issues yourself, while a maintenance technician is available for larger problems.

You have a valid forklift license

You speak good English; knowledge of Dutch is an asset

You have technical knowledge and can handle minor repairs or maintenance

You’re flexible for early and late shift work

Experience in a similar role is a plus, but not required

You work accurately and value safety
