LSTC have opportunities available for self-employed Overhead Powerline Inspector roles covering Northwest England . While experience is preferred, it is not essential – we’re committed to training and developing the right candidates to build a career in the energy industry, supporting the push toward Net Zero.

Requirements of an Overhead Line Inspector

Outdoor working
The ability to work independently
Self-motivation and discipline
Clean current DBS check
Full UK driving license and own vehicle

Responsibilities of an Overhead Line Inspector

Condition Based Assessments of Electricity Networks and their assets
Performing different inspection and testing methodologies
Interpretive skills
Script completions via handheld tablets and phones
Liaising with landowners
Reporting dangerous situations and faults immediately
