About The Role

LSTC have opportunities available for self-employed Overhead Powerline Inspector roles covering Northwest England . While experience is preferred, it is not essential – we’re committed to training and developing the right candidates to build a career in the energy industry, supporting the push toward Net Zero.

Requirements of an Overhead Line Inspector

  • Outdoor working
  • The ability to work independently
  • Self-motivation and discipline
  • Clean current DBS check
  • Full UK driving license and own vehicle

Responsibilities of an Overhead Line Inspector

  • Condition Based Assessments of Electricity Networks and their assets
  • Performing different inspection and testing methodologies
  • Interpretive skills
  • Script completions via handheld tablets and phones
  • Liaising with landowners
  • Reporting dangerous situations and faults immediately
