About The Role

Role Purpose

We are looking for an ambitious AI & People Systems Specialist (L3, junior) who is excited by the potential of AI and wants to build a career applying it to real business challenges.

You do not need to be an experienced P&C professional or have spent years working with HR systems. We are looking for someone at the earlier stages of their career who is naturally curious about AI, experiments with new technology and can turn ideas into practical solutions.

AI will be the primary focus of this role. You will explore how AI, automation and emerging technology can improve the way our global P&C function operates. This could include improving access to information, automating administration, supporting knowledge management, simplifying processes, creating better employee experiences and helping the P&C team work more effectively.

You will also become a specialist in our new global HRIS. As the implementation will already be underway when you join, your role will focus on learning the platform, supporting its transition into normal operations and providing ongoing European time zone support. Over time, you will help maintain, configure and continuously improve the system.

You will work closely with the P&C Manager, who holds overall accountability for the HRIS, systems roadmap, governance and priorities. You will provide the practical technical capability, experimentation and day to day support needed to turn agreed priorities into effective solutions.

This is an opportunity for someone who already brings strong technical and applied AI expertise and wants to use that capability to solve real business problems. You will deepen your expertise in AI and automation while developing knowledge of people technology, HRIS, people data and global P&C operations.

Explore and apply AI across P&C

  • Research emerging AI capabilities and practical use cases relevant to P&C.
  • Experiment with AI assistants, agents, prompts, knowledge tools, reporting and analytics, and workflow automation.
  • Identify repetitive, manual or inefficient work that could be simplified through AI or automation.
  • Build and test practical solutions for agreed P&C challenges.
  • Support AI use cases across employee queries, policy guidance, knowledge management, document creation, reporting, workflow support and P&C administration.
  • Turn early ideas into simple prototypes or controlled pilots.
  • Gather user feedback and measure whether solutions improve accuracy, speed, experience or productivity.
  • Recommend whether a solution should be improved, expanded, redesigned or stopped.
  • Document successful solutions so they can be used consistently and responsibly.
  • Help the global P&C team become more confident and capable in its use of AI.
  • Share useful developments, tools and practical examples with the P&C team.

Support the P&C AI roadmap

  • Work with the P&C Manager and CPO to translate the agreed P&C AI direction into practical activity.
  • Maintain a visible pipeline of AI ideas, experiments and improvement opportunities.
  • Assess potential ideas based on business value, effort, risk and scalability.
  • Support the delivery of agreed AI priorities and pilots.
  • Track adoption, time saved, work reduced and improvements to employee or manager experience.
  • Help ensure AI solutions remain useful, accurate and current after launch.
  • Work within agreed privacy, security, data protection and responsible AI requirements.
  • Ensure sensitive employment decisions remain subject to appropriate human judgement and oversight.

Become a specialist in our global Agentic AI HRIS

  • Develop strong practical knowledge of the Agentic AI HRIS and how it supports our global employee lifecycle.
  • Learn how the platform has been configured, including workflows, permissions, reports, integrations and data structures.
  • Support the transition from implementation into normal day to day operations.
  • Provide responsive system support during European working hours.
  • Investigate user queries and system issues, resolving them where possible and escalating them when required.
  • Support employees, managers and P&C colleagues in using the system effectively.
  • Maintain user guidance, process documentation and training materials.
  • Build strong relationships with the HRIS provider and relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor platform updates and identify new capabilities that may benefit P&C.

Maintain and continuously improve the Agentic AI HRIS

  • Support the day-to-day maintenance and configuration of the HRIS under the direction of the P&C Manager.
  • Maintain a structured record of system issues, user feedback and improvement opportunities.
  • Configure approved fields, workflows, notifications, permissions, reports and other system changes.
  • Test system changes carefully before they are released.
  • Document and communicate changes clearly to affected users.
  • Monitor whether workflows are being completed correctly and whether users are adopting the system.
  • Identify recurring issues and help resolve their underlying causes.
  • Support continuous improvement across onboarding, probation, employee changes, promotions, performance reviews, absence and offboarding.
  • Help improve employee and manager self-service and reduce unnecessary P&C administration.

Support people data and reporting

  • Monitor the accuracy, completeness and consistency of employee data.
  • Carry out regular data checks and support the correction of identified issues.
  • Help maintain clear data definitions, ownership and governance standards.
  • Build and maintain system reports and dashboards.
  • Support reporting across headcount, turnover, organisational structure, absence, workforce movements and other agreed measures.
  • Help reduce reliance on manual spreadsheets and offline reporting.
  • Work with P&C, Finance and Payroll colleagues to investigate data differences and improve alignment.
  • Escalate significant data quality, access or security concerns to the P&C Manager.

Support integrations and automation

  • Learn how the HRIS connects with other P&C and business systems.
  • Monitor agreed integrations and help investigate data or workflow failures.
  • Support the testing of new integrations, automations and platform capabilities.
  • Translate straightforward P&C needs into clear system or technical requirements.
  • Work with IT, Security, Finance, Payroll and external providers when support is required.
  • Identify opportunities to connect AI, automation and people systems in practical and responsible ways.

What you will bring

  • A genuine passion for AI and an active interest in how it can improve the way people work.
  • Practical experience experimenting with generative AI tools, whether through employment, education, personal projects or independent learning.
  • Curiosity about AI assistants, agents, prompting, workflow automation, knowledge retrieval and emerging technology.
  • The ability to take a problem, explore possible solutions and build or test something practical.
  • A willingness to experiment, learn from results and improve ideas through iteration.
  • An analytical mindset and an interest in understanding how systems, processes and data work together.
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly when working with data, system configuration or testing.
  • The confidence to ask questions, challenge inefficient ways of working and suggest improvements.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to explain technical ideas in simple language.
  • The ability to organise your work, follow priorities and see tasks through to completion.
  • A responsible approach to confidential information, employee data, privacy and security.
  • The motivation to learn about HR systems and P&C processes.
  • The confidence to work with colleagues across different countries, functions and levels of seniority.
  • A proactive, practical and collaborative approach.

Desirable

  • Experience with AI assistants, agents, automation tools or low code platforms.
  • Personal, academic or professional projects involving AI or automation.
  • Experience using an HRIS or another business platform.
  • Basic knowledge of APIs, integrations, data structures or system permissions.
  • Experience creating reports, dashboards or data visualisations.
  • Familiarity with process mapping or workflow design.
  • An interest in P&C, employee experience or workplace technology.
  • Experience supporting users of a technology platform.

Formal People & Culture experience is not required. We are more interested in your curiosity, practical ability, learning agility and the ways you are already exploring AI.

What this role is not

This is not a strategic leadership role with accountability for setting the overall P&C technology or AI strategy. Those responsibilities sit with the CPO and P&C Manager.

It is also not a traditional P&C generalist role or a purely theoretical AI position. The focus is practical delivery: using strong technical and applied AI expertise to build, test and improve solutions that address real operational needs.

The role requires someone who is comfortable working directly with technology, data, systems and automation. Knowledge of HRIS and P&C operations can be developed in the role, supported by the P&C Manager and wider global team.

This role offers the opportunity to apply established AI and technical capability in a global business environment, while developing deeper expertise in people technology, HRIS, people data and P&C operations.
