This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Data Analyst based in France.

As a Data Analyst, you’ll transform complex market data into actionable insights that support important commercial and product <decisions.You>’ll focus on pricing trends and market movements across materials used in semiconductor device manufacturing.The role combines hands-on analysis with data quality management, documentation, and continuous improvement of analytical <processes.You>’ll work with data from multiple sources, applying rigorous standards to extract, validate, clean, and synthesize information.Your findings will contribute to a high-value market intelligence product and help ensure the reliability of data used by customers and internal <teams.You>’ll join a fast-paced, cross-functional environment where curiosity, resourcefulness, and the ability to learn new tools are highly valued.The position is fully remote and offers an opportunity to develop your analytical expertise within a specialized technology and market intelligence environment.

Accountabilities

  • Analyze data to identify evolving prices and emerging trends across materials used in semiconductor device production, from raw feedstock through finished products.
  • Apply data standards and use a range of analytical tools and techniques to extract, synthesize, clean, and validate information from multiple sources.
  • Monitor data quality and integrity, troubleshoot issues, and ensure consistency across datasets, reports, and analytical outputs.
  • Identify data discrepancies, investigate root causes, and implement appropriate remediation and prevention measures.
  • Identify inconsistencies within data sources and models and contribute to improved data hygiene, quality, and documentation.
  • Create clear documentation for datasets, analytical processes, and findings to support knowledge sharing and continuity.
  • Assist with the design, maintenance, and optimization of data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve analytical workflows, tools, methodologies, and team best practices.
  • Share analytical findings, insights, and effective practices with colleagues and relevant stakeholders.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen the reliability, efficiency, and scalability of data operations.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in data analysis, data cleaning, preparation, validation, or a closely related analytical discipline.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced data manipulation, analysis, and extrapolation techniques.
  • Highly analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to identify patterns, inconsistencies, and potential data-quality issues.
  • Familiarity with data modeling and data warehouse concepts.
  • Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to approach complex issues logically and develop practical solutions.
  • Ability to communicate analytical findings and technical solutions clearly to colleagues and managers.
  • Resourceful, curious, and comfortable learning new tools, techniques, and subject matter quickly.
  • Self-motivated and capable of taking ownership in a fast-paced, cross-functional remote environment.
  • Experience working with multiple data sources and analytical tools, with a strong focus on accuracy and consistency.
  • Experience designing unbiased surveys is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor materials or semiconductor manufacturing is a strong plus.
  • Willingness and ability to provide current citizenship and/or permanent residency information as required for compliance with applicable U.S. export control regulations.
  • Legal authorization to work in Germany or the candidate’s primary country of residence without sponsorship.
