Every clean common area, fresh laundry delivery, and well-prepared event setup helps improve the quality of life for the seniors we serve.

Position Details

Position: Floor Technician/Porter
Schedule: Part Time Monday-Friday, 5 p.m.- to 9 p.m.
Part Time, Sat - Sun 3 p.m. - 7 p.m.
Pay: Starting at $15.00 per hour
Location: Galleria Woods Senior Living, Hoover, Alabama

What You'll Do

As a Floor Technician/Porter, you'll help ensure our community remains clean, comfortable, and inviting by

Cleaning and maintaining common areas, hallways, and public restrooms
Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and caring for floors and carpets
Collecting and disposing of trash
Assisting with room and event setups
Maintaining housekeeping equipment and supplies
Following daily work assignments and priorities established by supervisors
Supporting a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents, guests, and team members
Maintaining resident privacy and confidentiality at all times

What We're Looking For

We're seeking dependable, hardworking individuals who

Experience using scrub and extractor machines
Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic
Can understand and follow instructions in English
Communicate effectively with residents and coworkers
Can lift up to 30 pounds
Demonstrate reliable attendance and punctuality
Have previous porter, housekeeping, laundry, janitorial, or healthcare environmental services experience (preferred but not required)
