Maintenance Technician - Epitaxy

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Carry out regular preventive maintenance of wafer fab equipment like cleaning, re-conditioning, replacing parts and pre-defined checks of tools.
• -
• Carry out scheduled daily inspection and checks of equipment according to checklist and instructions (round).
• -
• Assist the shift maintenance engineer and senior Maintenance Technician.
• -
• Report maintenance actions in the Equipment Log application, such as actions, observations and result from checks.
• -
• Maintain spare part inventory, spare part stock count.

Education & Experience

• Education: Upper secondary school, preferably with technical or electronics focus.

Skills

• Some Practical knowledge and application of mechanics, electronics, vacuum systems, and testing.

• Good ability to collaborate with all different job functions in the fab.

• Ability to work independently.
• -
• Previous experience from manufacturing.
• -
• Experience from working in cleanroom.

Working Conditions

• -
• Working regularly in wafer fab cleanroom, carry out repetitive maintenance procedures, some of them physically demanding.

Qualifications

• Being proactive, work in a systematic and organized way
• Hands-on, roll up sleeves attitude.

Experience from equipment maintenance in semiconductor fabrication or similar business

Substantial part of the work takes place inside the WFAB clean room or in WFAB service areas

Being capable of working with chemicals. Being able to work with various types of gas masks (respirator, fan assisted respirator or fresh air) during certain maintenance work (e.g. involving gases, contaminated parts or scrubber systems)
