About The Role

Qualification

B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering

Experience

3–8 years of experience in power distribution projects
Experience in state utility / DISCOM projects preferred

Key Responsibilities

Supervision and execution of LT/HT power distribution works
Planning and monitoring of 33kV / 11kV lines, substations, and distribution networks
Inspection and quality control of electrical installations as per approved drawings
Coordination with contractors, vendors, and utility authorities
Preparation and review of BOQ, DPR, and technical reports
Ensuring compliance with safety standards, statutory norms, and project specifications
Site progress monitoring and reporting to project management
Support in testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of Assam Power Distribution Company Ltd. (APDCL) standards
Understanding of IS codes, CEA regulations, and safety norms
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics

Preferred Skills

Experience in government / PSU power projects
Familiarity with GIS-based distribution systems (added advantage)
Good communication and coordination skills
