Job Summary

The Facilities Supervisor optimizes office operations and provides support as the client's New York office consolidates into the new Regional flagship office. This position will provide efficiency, uninterrupted function, vendor management, and necessary soft skills required to ensure a smooth transition into a new office. This position will initially focus on the New York office but will also support the additional facilities and branches located on the East coast through responsibilities listed herein as well as project management overseeing location build-outs.

  • Coordinating internal and external resources; cultivating and managing relationships with

vendors

  • Ensuring office efficiency by maintaining common areas, organizing procedures, handling correspondence, and overseeing supplies and equipment
  • Providing direct administrative support as required
  • Reporting to SVP, Director of Facilities, and overseeing the office receptionist position
  • Managing inter-office relationships to maintain decorum
  • Implementing policies and procedures, measuring outcomes against standards, and improving operational flow
  • Managing all aspects of space/infrastructure planning (ex: moves, additions, changes to

workstations) and providing answers, resources, and solutions when requested

  • Maintaining a safe, secure, and pleasant work environment
  • Professionally representing Newmark and the client to the best of their abilities
  • May perform other duties as assigned
