HR Director - Porto Carras

About The Role
SWOT Hospitality is seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Director to join our team and oversee all Human Resources functions of the resort.
The HR Director will play a key role in developing and implementing HR strategies that support the resort’s business objectives, while ensuring a positive employee experience and maintaining high standards of professionalism, compliance, and engagement.
- Develop and implement the resort’s overall HR strategy in alignment with business objectives.
- Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and employee relations.
- Lead and support the HR team, ensuring efficient and professional delivery of HR services.
- Manage recruitment and staffing requirements, particularly during high-volume seasonal periods.
- Develop and implement employee engagement and retention initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with Greek labor legislation, company policies, and internal procedures.
- Manage employee relations and provide guidance to management on HR-related matters.
- Oversee payroll processes and ensure accurate and timely coordination with external payroll providers, where applicable.
- Identify training and development needs and coordinate relevant programs.
- Monitor employee performance and support managers in implementing effective performance management practices.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation.
- Prepare and monitor HR reports, KPIs, budgets, and workforce planning.
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and professional working environment throughout the resort.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a senior HR management role, preferably within the hospitality or luxury hotel industry.
- Strong knowledge of Greek labor legislation and HR best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, seasonal hospitality environment.
- Excellent command of English; additional languages will be considered an advantage.
- Strong computer and HR systems skills.
- High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and integrity.
