What this job involves

As an Analytics Specialist on our Sustainability Analytics team, you'll play a vital role in powering data-driven sustainability performance improvements for JLL's global clients. This role sits at the intersection of environmental stewardship and operational excellence, where you'll manage utility and sustainability data that enables organizations to measure, track, and enhance their environmental impact.

You'll collaborate with a global team that delivers analytics and reporting across diverse client portfolios and service lines. Your primary focus will be ensuring accurate, timely processing of utility invoices and data while maintaining rigorous quality standards within agreed Service Level Agreements.

Beyond data processing, you'll analyze trends, resolve queries, investigate issues, and support critical functions like budget forecasting and utility audits.

What your day-to-day will look like

  • Enter utility invoices accurately and on time within established Service Level Agreements, following documented processes
  • Manage general mailboxes with daily email processing, documentation tracking, and identification of data gaps
  • Prepare and distribute system-driven reports to business lines at regular intervals
  • Analyze reporting outputs to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities that drive sustainability insights for clients
  • Resolve data queries and issues promptly, tracking progress and supporting investigations
  • Conduct utility audits of site details, meter information, and account data, coordinating corrections with processing teams
  • Review utility payments against thresholds, processing exceptions and escalating when appropriate
  • Manage Purchase Order setup, invoice approvals, and Letter of Authorization requests
  • Support budget forecasting through data management and coordination with forecasting timelines

Required qualifications

  • College degree in Environmental Science, Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics or related field
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience (corporate, service provider, consulting, or comparable roles)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with Excel skills for data analysis
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Excellent communication abilities with collaborative, client-focused approach
  • Flexibility and adaptability in responding to changing priorities
  • Experience working with datasets and maintaining data quality
  • Reliable work ethic with focus on quality and meeting deadlines

Preferred qualifications

  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence platforms(Power BI) or analytics visualization tools
  • Background in Environmental Science, finance, accounting, or utility data management
  • Knowledge of sustainability metrics, environmental reporting, or energy management
  • Experience with budget forecasting or financial data management
  • Understanding of Service Level Agreements and performance tracking
