Job Summary

Transport patients, specimens and pharmaceutical goods throughout the Medical Center. Maintain rolling stock, wheelchairs and stretchers.

Essential Functions

1. Transports patients, specimens and pharmaceutical goods throughout Medical center.
Assigned transports are completed safely, efficiently and within established time frames.
2. Routinely collects and maintains wheelchairs and stretchers (including cleaning).
Rolling stock is clean and operational.
3. Maintains clerical records as needed.
Log sheets are completed accurately and timely.
4. Maintains and operates pneumatic tube system when necessary.
Completes transfers of pneumatic tube timely and efficiently. 100% compliance to departmental standards.
5. Perform related duties as required.
Assistance is provided in emergency situations on a timely and reliable basis.

Qualifications

High School Required
Ability to read, write and comprehend English.
OHS Annual Assessment Required
OHS Fit Test Required
