What You'll Be Doing Lead and coordinate mechanical maintenance activities to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable plant operations. Perform advanced troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of plant equipment, including conveyors, crushers, screening systems, and rotating equipment. Plan, prioritize, and assign maintenance work while providing technical guidance and support to maintenance team members. Conduct inspections, analyze equipment performance, and identify opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency, and equipment life. Oversee equipment installations, alignments, and major repair projects, ensuring work is completed safely and to quality standards. Collaborate with operations, contractors, and maintenance personnel to coordinate planned outages and resolve unplanned equipment issues. Train and mentor maintenance employees on best practices, troubleshooting techniques, and safe work procedures. Promote and enforce company safety policies while fostering a strong safety-first culture throughout the operation. What Are We Looking For Extensive experience in industrial mechanical maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, and repair. Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to coordinate work, provide direction, and mentor team members. Strong knowledge of conveyors, crushers, pumps, motors, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics, and other heavy industrial equipment. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, equipment manuals, schematics, and maintenance documentation. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and precision measuring instruments. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and promoting safe work practices. Ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and effectively lead maintenance activities in a fast-paced environment. Work Environment Role operates primarily in environments where conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, elevated noise levels, dust, and varying terrain. Requires frequent standing, walking, climbing, lifting, and working at heights or in confined spaces as needed.
