Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role

Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting for a Clinical Practice Adviser, Nurse Practitioner to join Te Puna Hauora - School of Health. This role is a permanent, part-time position located on the Kelburn Campus in Wellington.

Key responsibilities

  • Facilitate student learning, clinical development, and assessment through coordination of HLTH 543 Nurse Prescribing Practicum and HLTH 517 Diagnostics and Therapeutics.
  • Contribute specialist Nurse Practitioner expertise to the Master of Nursing Science programme delivery and development.
  • Support programme quality, accreditation requirements, and regulatory alignment.

You will be a registered Nurse Practitioner with current clinical expertise and a commitment to excellence in advanced nursing practice. You are collaborative, approachable, and adaptable, with a passion for supporting the development of future nurse prescribers and Nurse Practitioners.

Key requirements

  • New Zealand Registered Nurse Practitioner with a current APC.
  • Completed master’s degree in a relevant area.
  • Relevant clinical experience.
