Solids Control Operator

About The Role
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complete Solids Control rig-ups, rig-downs, troubleshooting, and minor repairs
- Perform Solids Control Analysis of the equipment
- Perform electrical rig-ups, rig downs, and minor repairs
- Possess satisfactory knowledge of Solids Control and Vacuum Unit jobs
- Follow the proper sampling procedure
- Complete daily reports and communicate with customers, supervisors, and co-workers
- Possess satisfactory rig etiquette and maintain a professional attitude
- Train other employees and travel outside the hiring region when needed
- Maintain a satisfactory driving record per NOV's Driver Policy
- Demonstrate a willingness to complete general labor tasks as deemed necessary by the supervisor
- Attain the necessary NOV WSS Core Training and maintain annual refresher training
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- A High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
- Experience in the solids control field or similar mechanical experience, to be able to identify potential mechanical problems
- Possess a satisfactory driving record
- Must be able to pass background check, pre-placement physical, pulmonary function/FIT test, and substance abuse testing
- Must be able to operate or be trained to operate heavy equipment such as a track hoe/back hoe in a safe manner
- Must be able to operate or be trained to operate existing solids control line of equipment and or any new solids control technology introduced to the market
