About The Role
As a Sr Finance Manager at Solstice Advanced Materials, you will lead the financial team for our Colonial Heights, Virginia manufacturing site and supporting Toller operations. You will lead a team of 3, ensuring the delivery of timely, accurate, and insightful financial reporting, forecasting, and planning processes, including monthly close, management reviews, product costing and variance reviews, and the annual budgeting process. You will be a critical part of the site’s leadership team, driving financial accountability for all departments as well as helping to highlight and mitigate risks. You will partner closely with business leaders to ensure financial transparency and drive the business to successful financial performance, identify key risks and opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations to support decision-making and achievement of business commitments.
You will report directly to our Electronic & Specialty Materials (ESM), director of finance for manufacturing, and you will work out of our Colonial Heights, Virginia location.
As a people leader, you will develop and coach team members, strengthening their analytical, leadership, and communication skills while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Through strong cross-functional partnerships and a focus on forecast accuracy and execution, you will help drive business performance and build confidence in the Finance organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead a finance team in consistently preparing timely, accurate, and complete deliverables, to include monthly close reporting, weekly pulse deliverables, monthly MOR, annual budget processes and ad-hoc reporting requests
- Develop tactical and leadership qualities in direct reports, expanding their exposure and presentation opportunities while providing coaching on purpose and effectiveness. Lead with humbleness and coach the importance of telling the story to leadership that informs their decisions and highlights opportunity levers and risk mitigation tactics
- Collaborate across functions to understand the complete business objectives and continue to grow both confidence and trust in the finance organization and the Colonial Heights manufacturing site
- Escalate significant variances and risks that have potential to deviate from the commitment that has been communicated
- Build a strong say/do ratio, both in forecast accuracy and in action items taken away from meetings/calls
YOU MUST HAVE
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in progressive finance roles
- A minimum of 8 years in the manufacturing industry
- Strong financial modeling, analysis and forecasting skills
- Strong internal control and GAAP knowledge, with proficiency in month-end close processes
- Experience leading team and projects
- Strong and confident communicator with peers, subordinates, and leadership
WE VALUE
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred
- SAP experience, particularly within a manufacturing setting

COMPENSATION
The annual base salary for this position is $143,141-$200,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Solstice considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
This position is incentive eligible.
