What You Will Do
- Manage daily operations of property accounting including cash receipts and accounts receivable
- Prepare and review month end financial statements with Property Managers and subledger reconciliations
- Prepare monthly recurring entries and accruals
- Review and prepare tenants’ chargebacks
- Administer triple net or gross leases, tenant files, and security deposits and refunds for commercial or residential portfolio in the accounting software
- Process move in and move outs in the accounting software by interpreting new and existing leases
- Set up new properties and update any changes as required in the accounting software
- Maintain monthly rent rolls and vacancy loss reports
- Analyze monthly and annual budget variance
- Reconcile bank activity on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
- Prepare annual budget, CAM, and tax recoveries
- Liaise with Property Managers and tenants in a timely and professional manner as required
- Assist Reporting Managers, COO, and CFO when required
- Complete other duties that may be assigned.
What You Will Bring
- 2-5 years commercial property management accounting for retail, office, industrial, and properties transitioning from PUD to IPP
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills
- Advanced excel skills are an asset ( Pivot tables & macros)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy to ensure high quality of work
- Timberline experience is an asset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment independently and in a team.
Salary Range
$72,000 - $82,000 Per Year
