About The Role
The Senior Manager, Commercial Markets Operations, is responsible for leading all aspects of information management and analysis within Commercial Markets Operations. This role evaluates complex corporate information and processes to deliver actionable insights to project teams and decision makers, improving the timeliness and quality of intelligence that informs strategic decisions. Using proven methodologies, processes, architecture, and technologies, the Sr. Manager transforms raw data into meaningful information that enables effective strategic, tactical, and operational decision-making. The position provides critical support to leadership in achieving company objectives by empowering the organization to leverage intelligence for long-term strategic planning, ensuring positive customer experience, and driving profitability. The Sr. Manager identifies, creates, and champions the implementation of innovative information solutions across the organization.
What You Will Be Doing
Strategic Planning & Intelligence Leadership
- Coordinate strategic projects and collaborate with management to develop and execute the Information Strategy
- Direct intelligence initiatives from conception through production and adoption, with deep understanding of research and modeling lifecycles
- Manage leadership and Sales Operations dashboards to monitor all processes, including phase-by-phase metrics and trending
- Conduct post-implementation analysis of Sales Enablement system updates to ensure processes function as designed
Analytics & Reporting
- Define, develop, and drive adoption of reporting metrics that enhance user engagement, customer satisfaction, and business impact
- Lead a team of analysts in developing, implementing, and maintaining business intelligence tools for Sales Operations and Commercial Markets
- Provide insights and analytic support to leadership on strategic recommendations aligned with Florida Blue's affordability and customer experience goals
- Apply business operations knowledge—including enrollment and performance drivers—to explain variances and identify continuous improvement opportunities
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Deliver compelling presentations to Executive Leadership on assigned responsibilities
- Provide coaching and support to extended working teams
- Inform leaders to build alignment with enterprise data ingestion and reporting priorities
- Communicate strategic planning, process improvement analysis, and recommendations effectively
Operational Management
- Oversee employee performance management reporting for all Sales Operations facets, including operational excellence reporting and scorecards
- Manage resource planning, business planning, and alignment to corporate CPI initiatives
- Collaborate on budget analysis to ensure high performance and team skill diversity
- Facilitate cross-functional operational performance monitoring and improvement
- Maintain Sales Operations SharePoint sites and collaborate on enterprise Sharepoint stewardship
Team Leadership
- Model leadership and an engaging presence to build enduring relationships with analysts, peers, and external partners
- Position the Business Intelligence team as a highly desired destination for advanced talent within Florida Blue
- Define projects, objectives, and prioritization for the team and assigned areas of responsibility
What We Require
- 6+ years of related work experience
- 3+ years of direct supervisory/management experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Operations, Business Intelligence, Statistics, or equivalent related work experience
- Strong Microsoft platform proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong relationship management and process management capabilities
- Knowledge of database principles, analytical modeling, and forecasting techniques
- Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of Florida Blue products, enrollment, and sales operations processes across all segments
- Understanding of how goals and objectives align with strategic direction and tactical execution
- Solid working knowledge of business and operational planning, sales operations procedures, and process improvement methodologies
- Ability to communicate strategic planning, process improvement analysis, and recommendations
- This position offers a hybrid work arrangement which combines flexibility with in-office engagement. Team schedules are determined based on role requirements and business needs. Travel to and from our corporate or regional offices may be required.
What We Prefer
- Knowledge of Talent Management Systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft SQL, SAS EG, Proc SQL, R, or Python
- Experience with Power BI and data visualization tools
- Demonstrated ability to create a team environment that encourages accountability, high standards, and innovation
- Track record of setting and monitoring goal progress for self and others
- Experience identifying innovative technical approaches and communicating their business impact
- Proven ability to identify innovative ways to improve productivity, customer/stakeholder satisfaction, and profitability
General Physical Demands
- Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to move objects.

Typical Annualized Offer/Hiring Range: $100,400 - $125,500
Annualized Salary Range: $100,400 - $163,200
Final pay will be determined with consideration of market competitiveness, internal equity, and the job-related knowledge, skills, training, and experience you bring.
