Scope: Leads the warehouse department and ensures the safe receipt, storage, and dispatch of warehouse goods. Applying compliance with standard operating

procedures to maintain quality control and accuracy of inventory. Coordinates

with other departments, such as Production and hauliers to ensure smooth

operations and timely order fulfilment.

Overview: Provides first line leadership to teams within the warehouse, focusing on accuracy, quality, delivery, and morale.

Leads the warehouse team, arrange assignments, and delegate activities

according to business priorities.

  • Ensures Health and Safety requirements are always adhered to by audit

and review.

  • Monitors activities within area of remit to ensure that efficiency and

service level agreements are met.

  • Takes immediate appropriate action to rectify any shortfalls in levels of
  • service. Seeks supervisory support as issues arise. Liaising with
  • production/planning teams to resolve issues with orders.
  • Provides reports/data on daily performance achievements against

targets, as required.

  • Supports new model introductions with supervision.
  • Carry out cycle adjustments in accordance with financial limits after

signing off by appropriate management.

  • Presents daily team brief at the start of each shift.
  • Has the ability to perform all associated tasks within own area of

responsibility. Supporting training of newer associates.

  • Monitors the work area to ensure that all safety standards are upheld.
  • Ensures materials are ordered and in stock to meet company

requirements.

  • Carry out any reasonable request by the management team.
  • Supports supervisor with operations in defining, documenting, and
  • implementing processes to ensure compliance with the QMS, ISO 9001
  • and 14001 frameworks.
  • Contributes to continuous improvements.
