About The Role
Job Summary
The Senior Manager, ERP Platform is responsible for the leadership, performance and evolution of OSCO's enterprise ERP environment, with primary accountability for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne. Supporting multiple operating companies and business functions, this role ensures the platform remains stable, secure, scalable and aligned with business priorities.
The role leads ERP operations, continuous improvement initiatives, system governance and enterprise delivery while supporting the organization's growth strategy through acquisition integration and business transformation. Working closely with business leaders, IT architecture and external partners, the Senior Manager balances operational excellence with long-term platform modernization and enterprise standardization.
Responsibilities
- Lead the enterprise ERP platform strategy, delivery and operational performance for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and related applications
- Oversee day-to-day platform operations, including service reliability, incident management, change management and system performance
- Partner with business stakeholders and IT leaders to prioritize enhancements, improve business processes and maximize the value of ERP capabilities
- Develop and maintain ERP roadmaps aligned with business objectives, technology standards and future-state architecture
- Drive continuous improvement through automation, standardization, process optimization and improved user experience
- Support acquisitions, divestitures and organizational changes by enabling efficient ERP onboarding, integration, separation and transition activities
- Ensure ERP solutions align with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, data governance and compliance requirements
- Oversee ERP integrations, master data structures, reporting capabilities and system interoperability across the application landscape
- Lead, coach and develop a team of ERP specialists while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement
- Manage relationships with Oracle and external service providers to ensure quality delivery, value realization and operational effectiveness
- Monitor platform risks, controls, audit requirements and performance metrics to ensure ongoing operational integrity and business continuity
- Provide leadership and recommendations on ERP modernization initiatives, including future cloud-based ERP strategies
Technical/Business Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Finance or a related field
- 7+ years of experience working with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne across core business modules
- Leadership experience in ERP delivery, enterprise applications or platform management environments
- Experience supporting multi-entity and multi-business-unit organizations
- Strong understanding of ERP governance, controls, integrations, reporting and data management
- Knowledge of enterprise application architectures, APIs and system integration practices
- Experience supporting major ERP upgrades, transformation initiatives or modernization programs
- Exposure to Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP is considered an asset
- Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, divestitures or post-merger integration activities is considered an asset
