Puritas is the leader in providing water and wastewater treatment solutions in Sri Lanka and the Maldives. We have built over 400 treatment plants across Sri Lanka, Maldives, Thailand, Indonesia and Myanmar. The company is engaged in the provision of custom designed water and wastewater purification systems, community and municipal scale water supply and sewerage projects, water and wastewater consultation, and customized operation and maintenance contracts in the same capacity.

Position - Electrical / Mechanical Engineer

Location - Project Sites - Sri Lanka

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee installation, testing and commissioning of electrical and mechanical equipment at water and wastewater treatment plants.
  • Coordinate with the civil team to ensure integrated and timely execution of works.
  • Ensure equipment installation is carried out as per design drawings and manufacturer specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical/mechanical issues arising at site.
  • Maintain compliance with safety procedures and quality standards during installation and commissioning.
  • Maintain equipment records, test reports and commissioning documentation.

Candidate Profile

  • BSc Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical) with a minimum of 2 years' experience.
  • Knowledge of pumps, motors, control panels, instrumentation and piping systems will be an advantage.
  • Hands-on experience in installation, testing and commissioning of E/M equipment preferred.
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Willingness to work at project sites across Sri Lanka.
