About the Position
As a key member of the Equipment Services team, the Service Writer will be responsible for effectively coordinating and managing the maintenance and repair services for Maricopa County's fleet of vehicles. In this position, it is important to have exceptional communication skills, a strong technical aptitude, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

We Require
- Two years of experience performing administrative or clerical duties in a customer service environment
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
Other Requirements
- Must possess or have the ability to obtain a valid Arizona driver's license at the time of hire
We Also Value
- Automotive service writer experience
- Experience with FASTERWEB fleet software
- Three years of customer service experience in an automotive, manufacturing, or industrial environment
Job Contributions
- Serve as the primary point of contact for fleet maintenance and repair services
- Identify customer needs and provide accurate and timely information regarding services, pricing, and estimated completion times
- Receive and review work orders, ensuring that all necessary information is complete and accurate
- Collaborate with fleet technicians to schedule and prioritize repair and maintenance tasks
- Upload invoices and process payments for completed services
- Update customers on the progress of their vehicles and address any concerns or questions
- Other Job Duties as assigned
Working Conditions
- Position is typically office or administrative work and is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions
- Exerting up to 20 lbs. occasionally, 10 lbs. frequently, or negligible amounts constantly, or requires walking or standing to a significant degree
- Hardware: Computer and phone (with or without headset)
- Software: Microsoft, FasterWeb, Fuel Master
