Job Description

The Analyst, S&T Derivatives Operations, is responsible for the reconciliation and operational support of Supply & Trading exchange-traded derivatives across global Oil, Gas, and Power markets. This role ensures the accurate processing and reconciliation of trading activity while supporting Margin and Collateral Management functions, including the validation and execution of margin calls and collateral movements in accordance with established WFS policies and procedures. The position plays a key role in mitigating operational risk, maintaining financial integrity, and supporting effective interactions with counterparties and internal stakeholders

Margining & Collateral Management

Review daily statements and margin call requests from WFS clearing brokers and exchanges to ensure WFS collateral is posted as required and AR/AP coordination is completed the same day.

Monitor CloudMargin daily to initiate margin calls, process collateral returns, and coordinate WFS collateral postings to counterparties.
If there is a payable invoice, ensure payment instructions are given to the Accounts Payable team.
If there is a receivable invoice, ensure receipt instructions are given to the Accounts Receivable team and that funds have been received by end of next day.

Process monthly cash collateral interest invoices in CloudMargin and coordinate AR/AP activities through completion.

Provide MTM counterparty reports in accordance with agreed reporting frequency.
