The role
Reporting to the Service Desk Manager and joining a team of 18 dedicated professionals, you will serve as the first point of contact for all digital support requests, playing a vital role in ensuring our business operations run smoothly and efficiently. You’ll:
- Deliver 1st and 2nd level support to end users, resolving issues across hardware, software, networks, and key applications (DMS, D365/Annata, Autoline).
- Take ownership of incidents and requests, troubleshooting, escalating when needed, and ensuring timely resolution.
- Provide exceptional support through phone, email, Teams, in-person, and our service portal.
- Manage ITSM tickets accurately and efficiently, maintaining clear, empathetic communication throughout.
- Document solutions and contribute to the knowledge base to improve response times and service quality.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve complex issues.
About you
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a Service Desk or Application Support environment. You will bring strong technical expertise, sound problem-solving skills, and the ability to quickly assess and resolve IT issues, escalating where appropriate to ensure seamless support for employees across the business units.
What You Will Bring
- A tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Business, or a related field
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, operating systems and business applications.
- 2-3 years' experience in a Service Desk, Technical Support, or Application Support role.
- Experience supporting ERP, CRM, and Dealer Management Systems (DMS) - with exposure to Dynamics 365 highly desirable.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Intune, as well as ITSM and ticketing platforms.
- A customer-first approach, with the ability to build positive relationships
- Clear spoken English, with outstanding spoken and written communication skills.
- A full clean NZ drivers' licence and good geographical knowledge of the wider Auckland region, as the role will involve travel to sites as required.
