What you’ll be doing

Gain real, hands-on experience, receive top-tier on-the-job training, and best of all — walk away with a Certificate III in Laboratory Skills to launch your career in style! This is a 2-year contract with a possibility for a full-time role at the end!

In this position, you will

Collect samples from designated collection points within the premises
Unpack, sort, label and register samples accurately
Prepare samples for analysis following laboratory procedures and work instructions
Conduct routine analysis using a range of laboratory instrumentation
Correlate and record analytical data
Complete competency-based laboratory studies and training activities
Prepare laboratory standards and reagents
Calibrate and maintain laboratory instrumentation
Perform housekeeping and routine laboratory equipment maintenance
Maintain sample traceability and ensure accurate laboratory records
Display care in the use of company instrumentation, tools, and property
Contribute to a safe, clean and efficient laboratory environment

You will bring

Hold a year 12 certificate
Willingness to learn
Interest in pursuing a career in a laboratory environment
Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident (we are unable to accept applications from candidates who are temporary residents)
