Overview Radiology Technologist – Mammography in Boston, MA. Start date 10/26/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range is $2,951–$3,193 with guaranteed hours of 40 per week. Key Highlights - Weekly pay: $2,951–$3,193 per week - Guaranteed hours: 40 per week - Contract duration: 13 weeks - Shift: 4x10-hour days (Mon, Wed, Thu, Fri) - Start date: 10/26/2026 - Setting: Hospital travel assignment Responsibilities - Perform diagnostic mammography imaging procedures, including patient positioning, compression, and exposure selection to produce high-quality breast images. - Collaborate with radiologists and breast imaging staff to ensure accurate imaging and optimal visualization of breast tissue. - Prepare exam rooms and equipment, follow radiation safety protocols, and monitor patient comfort and safety during imaging. - Document procedures, manage patient records, and ensure correct image labeling, storage, and communication of results per department standards. - Maintain and troubleshoot mammography equipment, perform routine quality control checks, and report issues promptly. - Demonstrate professional communication with patients and colleagues; adhere to local regulations and department guidelines. On-call availability is not required. Requirements - Current Massachusetts license to practice radiologic technology. - ARRT certification in Radiography with Mammography endorsement. - BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. - Minimum 1 year of experience in a breast imaging/mammography setting. - Ability to work a 10-hour shift in a hospital environment. - Strong patient-care skills and proficiency in mammography positioning techniques.
