As a Housekeeping team member, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms to meet hotel standards.
• Handle various cleaning tasks using appropriate equipment such as vacuums, mops, and cleaning tools to ensure spotless results.
• Safely manage chemical agents and cleaning supplies in accordance with safety data sheets (SDS) and hotel protocols.
• Maintain sanitation standards by disinfecting high-touch surfaces and public areas like lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms.
• Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to moving furniture or supplies while adhering to manual handling safety procedures.
• Follow hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests for additional amenities or cleaning services.

Experience

• Prior janitorial or custodial experience in a hospitality or industrial cleaning setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with floor care techniques including chemical handling and floor cleaning processes.
• Experience operating cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, or steam cleaners is advantageous.
• Knowledge of hotel housekeeping management practices and sanitation standards is beneficial.
• Ability to perform physical tasks involving heavy lifting and manual handling comfortably and safely.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures related to chemical agents and industrial cleaning supplies.
• Previous exposure to hotel emergency procedures enhances readiness for this role.
