At Amgen Breda medicines are labelled, assembled, stored and eventually shipped to various countries worldwide. Every day more than 1000 people with 42 different nationalities are working on supply chain processes, manufacturing, marketing and sales of our medicines and clinical research into new medicines.

What you will do

We are looking for a Value, Access & Policy (VAP) Senior Associate to join our Oncology & Rare Franchise Team.

In this role, you act as the analytical and operational partner to the VAP Manager across the portfolio. You translate strategic direction into research, evidence, materials and coordinated execution that support patient access and outcomes.

You will work across access, pricing, value/suitable care initiatives, combining analytical work with project coordination and cross-functional collaboration. You will prepare decision-ready documents and analyses, coordinate inputs and reviews, and ensure that actions, deliverables and timelines move forward.

This role is well suited to someone who enjoys turning complex questions into structure and concrete action, has a strong analytical mindset and likes working across different disciplines and stakeholders.

You will support the execution of Value, Access & Policy priorities by

  • Supporting access, pricing, value, and suitable care initiatives through analysis, evidence generation, stakeholder engagement, and project execution.
  • Analyzing payer landscapes, patient journeys, care pathways, and HEOR/RWE evidence to generate actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Developing and maintain value materials, dossiers, presentations, stakeholder plans, and communication materials.
  • Coordinating workplans, timelines, vendors, KPIs/OKRs, risks, decisions, and cross-functional contributions to ensure successful delivery.
  • Conducting targeted research, synthesize complex information, and translate findings into clear, practical outputs.
  • Independently managing day-to-day priorities and deliverables within agreed strategy and governance.
  • Providing recommendations on evidence generation, value communication, stakeholder insights, access risks, and opportunities to accelerate project outcomes.
  • Collaborating with VAP, Medical, Marketing, Regulatory, Finance, Legal/Compliance, HEOR/RWE, Pricing, Policy, external stakeholders with VAP Manager.

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn insights into action.
  • Knowledge of HTA, reimbursement, healthcare funding, HEOR/RWE, value communication, and patient pathways.
  • Skilled at managing projects, coordinating stakeholders and vendors, and driving cross-functional delivery with accountability and a "get things done" mindset.
  • Adaptable, proactive, and results-oriented, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills in Dutch and English.
