What this role is all about

Great dining experiences are powered by strong teamwork behind the scenes. As a Bus Attendant, you’ll help create a clean, welcoming, and seamless guest experience by supporting our restaurant and Food & Beverage teams throughout service.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment, enjoys staying active, and loves being part of a collaborative team. You’ll help keep dining areas clean, organized, and guest-ready while supporting Servers, Bartenders, and restaurant operations to ensure exceptional service from start to finish.

What you’ll be doing

Clear, clean, and reset restaurant tables quickly and efficiently throughout service periods.
Support Servers and Food & Beverage teams by refilling water, delivering supplies, and assisting guest needs as required .
Maintain cleanliness and organization across dining rooms, service stations, beverage areas, and guest-facing spaces.
Assist with setup and breakdown of restaurant, banquet, and event spaces as needed.
Remove used dishes, glassware, silverware, trash, and linens while maintaining sanitation and cleanliness standards.
Restock service stations with utensils, napkins, condiments, glassware, and other operational supplies.
Follow food safety guidelines, sanitation procedures, and hotel operational standards at all times.
Partner closely with Servers, Bartenders, Culinary teams, and leadership to support smooth restaurant operations and guest satisfaction.
Monitor dining areas to ensure guests enjoy a clean, welcoming, and comfortable environment.
Help create a positive, team-oriented atmosphere aligned with Sonesta’s People People culture.
Any other duties as assigned.

What great looks like

Previous restaurant, hospitality, food runner, busser, hotel, or customer service experience preferred.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Strong teamwork, communication, and customer service skills.
A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and support the team wherever needed.
Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and guest experience standards.
Dependable, proactive, and able to multitask during busy service periods.
A passion for hospitality, teamwork, guest service, and creating memorable dining experiences.
Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, holidays, and event support as needed.
