About The Role

Responsibilities
Welcome, greet, and interact with guests in the breakfast and lobby areas in a friendly and professional manner.
Set up, maintain, serve, and break down the breakfast bar according to hotel standards.
Prepare designated food items and ensure the breakfast area remains fully stocked and presentable throughout service.
Replenish food, beverages, and supplies as needed.
Assist guests courteously and efficiently with breakfast service and address questions or concerns.
Handle guest complaints and work to ensure guest satisfaction.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, appearance, and overall quality throughout daily assignments.
Follow all hotel policies, including house rules, safety procedures, food-handling requirements, and security procedures.
Assist with inventory counts and related duties as scheduled.
Follow established maintenance programs and cleaning schedules.
Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum of one year of customer service experience ; previous hotel or hospitality experience preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with guests, management, and coworkers.
Friendly, positive attitude with strong guest-service skills.
Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team.
Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
Knowledge of local activities, attractions, and points of interest appropriate for hotel guests is preferred.
Food safety certification is preferred.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform the physical requirements associated with breakfast service and maintaining the breakfast area.
