Job Summary

American Insurance Marketing Group, LLC. an Integrity Company, locally known as The Health Insurance Place, is looking to have a Seasonal Client Support Specialist with 1-2 years of experience in Medicare benefits join the team. This position would be based in Johnstown, PA.

As a Client Support Specialist with The Health Insurance Place, you will assist Medicare eligible clients by reviewing medications, physicians and general care concerns to determine the best plan for their needs. You will be the liaison between the client and the Sales Agent, recommending an appointment with a Sales Agent when needed to make changes for the upcoming plan year.

This role will directly support the sales team by meeting with clients telephonically and in-person.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Support Medicare Sales Agents throughout the enrollment process by preparing client files, gathering required documentation, and ensuring applications are submitted accurately and on time.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to Medicare-eligible individuals by answering inquiries, scheduling appointments, and facilitating communication between clients and licensed agents.
  • Conduct timely follow-up with prospective and existing clients to address questions, obtain necessary information, and support enrollment and retention efforts.
  • Maintain accurate and organized client records, enrollment documentation, and customer communications in accordance with company procedures and compliance requirements.
  • Assist with reviewing client information, including providers, medications, and healthcare needs, to support agents in identifying appropriate Medicare plan options.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, referral partners, and community resources to support business growth and client satisfaction.
  • Stay current on Medicare guidelines, carrier updates, and industry changes while utilizing company technology platforms and Microsoft Office applications to support daily operations.

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, OneDrive
  • Flexibility with hours and travel as needed
  • Experience in Medicare as a licensed agent; Health & Life Producer License in PA
