DESCRIPTION
We seek a Senior Tax Assistant to contribute to our mission to enable customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. You'll be part of handling important financial processes and collaborating across teams. This role offers excellent opportunities for growth while working with advanced financial systems and tools in a deadline-oriented environment.
The Tax Assistant will be responsible for supporting the company's tax and accounting operations by monitoring billing activities and recording purchase invoices in the accounting system. This role includes monitoring, analyzing, and reporting rejected invoices while ensuring their timely resolution. The position is also responsible for reconciling sales tax books with accounting records to ensure data accuracy and consistency, monitoring suspense accounts and resolving discrepancies, and preparing reports to support the monthly financial close.
The role includes controlling and monitoring the cancellation process of tax documents, maintaining customer and vendor master data, and serving as a point of contact for inbound and outbound support. The Tax Assistant will communicate in Spanish with the Commercial, Customer Service, and IT teams to ensure efficient coordination across departments. In addition, the position will develop, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), creating metrics that support decision-making and continuous process improvement.
REQUIREMENTS: Candidates should have knowledge of billing and inbound processes, advanced Microsoft Excel skills, and be currently pursuing or hold a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
