The Account Executive will play a critical role in driving growth across Faherty Brand’s Men’s Wholesale business throughout the Northeast region. This individual will manage and grow existing wholesale partnerships while identifying and securing new business opportunities across specialty, regional, and key accounts.

The role combines account management, sales strategy, business development, showroom and market leadership, and day-to-day account operations. The Account Executive will serve as a key ambassador for the Faherty Brand, building strong customer relationships and partnering cross-functionally to drive sustainable, profitable growth.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, relationship-driven, highly organized, commercially minded, and passionate about delivering an exceptional wholesale experience. As an Account Executive, this individual is expected to combine topline thinking with strong account-level execution and ownership.

What you’ll do

Account Management & Business Development

  • Manage, grow, and strategically develop a portfolio of existing and prospective Men’s wholesale accounts across the Northeast.
  • Territory includes CT, ME, MA, NH, RI, VT, NJ, NY, PA, and DE.
  • Drive regional sales performance to meet or exceed annual and seasonal sales goals.
  • Develop account strategies and identify opportunities to increase sales, doors, assortment, and productivity.
  • Identify, prospect, and onboard new wholesale partners, including specialty boutiques, regional chains, and key accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers and retail partners through regular communication, market appointments, store visits, trunk shows, and road work.
  • Act as a trusted business partner to customers, providing product knowledge, merchandising guidance, and operational support.
  • Stay close to the competitive landscape, customer needs, and regional market trends to identify opportunities for growth.

Showroom & Market Leadership

  • Support planning and execution of New York HQ and Chicago Men’s Collective markets.
  • Plan and host showroom appointments and account presentations, delivering an elevated and engaging Faherty Brand experience, consistently work to evolve and improve our go-to-market presentation.
  • Drive the Men’s market experience out of the New York showroom, ensuring appointments are well planned, organized, and commercially focused.
  • Attend regional and major trade shows, road shows, hotel shows, customer events, and other revenue-driving opportunities as needed.
  • Research and recommend additional market opportunities that can drive regional sales and customer acquisition.
  • Maintain showroom standards, including sample organization, merchandising, sample shipments, and returns management.
  • Support the broader sales team during key market periods and events as needed.

Account & Business Management

  • Own day-to-day account management and operational execution for assigned customers, including order entry, order maintenance, delivery tracking, and payment follow-up.
  • Analyze weekly account-level sales performance to identify opportunities, risks, and in-season growth initiatives.
  • Monitor account performance against sales goals and proactively develop action plans to address gaps.
  • Support seasonal forecasting, account planning, product feedback, and market preparation.
  • Ensure timely and accurate communication of customer needs, opportunities, and issues internally.
  • Partner with Planning, Merchandising, Operations, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Utilize NuOrder and NetSuite daily to manage account activity and support sales operations.

Customer & Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Communicate customer feedback, selling trends, product opportunities, and regional insights to internal teams.
  • Partner with Planning and Merchandising to provide meaningful feedback on assortment, inventory, replenishment, and product opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and other internal partners on customer events, brand activations, and account-specific opportunities.
  • Support the execution of account initiatives and ensure internal teams are aligned to customer expectations and deadlines.
  • Represent the voice of the customer while balancing account needs with Faherty’s broader business objectives.

What you’ll have

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7+ years of experience in wholesale sales, account management, or business development, preferably within contemporary apparel, fashion, or lifestyle.
  • Strong understanding of the Men’s wholesale landscape, including specialty, regional, and department store channels.
  • Proven track record of growing existing accounts and developing new business.
  • Strong commercial and analytical skills with the ability to translate business performance into actionable opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and wholesale sales platforms; experience with NuOrder and NetSuite preferred.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail, follow-through, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Results-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the Northeast territory and for key market/trade show opportunities.
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license.

We aim to pay competitively for our size and industry. The base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $100,000 USD, but we will consider location, skill level and experience to determine the final offer.
