BMW of Raleigh has an outstanding opportunity for a C-Level BMW Technician to join the Holman family.
What will you do?
Our BMW C-Level Technician is responsible for performing maintenance services, diagnosing common vehicle concerns, and completing repairs in accordance with BMW and dealership standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and BMW standards
- Perform routine maintenance and repair services, including brakes, suspension, steering, cooling system, and drivetrain components
- Diagnose and repair common mechanical, electrical, and vehicle systems concerns
- Conduct inspections and identify additional maintenance or repair needs
- Utilize BMW diagnostic equipment, service information, and digital repair manuals
- Maintain accurate documentation of repairs and warranty-related information
- Road test vehicles as required to verify repairs and ensure quality workmanship
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Properly care for dealership equipment and special tools
- Participate in BMW and Holman training programs to continue technical development and career progression
- Stay current with evolving automotive technologies and BMW service procedures
What are we looking for?
- Minimum of 18 to 36 months of automotive repair experience, preferably in a dealership environment
- Previous European or luxury automotive experience preferred
- BMW experience is preferred but not required
- Demonstrated ability to perform repairs involving:
- Brake systems, including pads, rotors, calipers, master cylinders, and parking brake components
- Suspension and steering components, including control arms, shocks, struts, hubs, bearings, and steering systems
- Engine cooling and lubrication systems, including radiators, water pumps, thermostats, and oil-related components
- Drivetrain and transmission-related repairs
- Basic electrical diagnostics and repairs, including starters, alternators, lighting systems, sensors, switches, and relays
- Commitment to completing BMW training requirements and advancing through the BMW Technician Career Path
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Willingness to undergo and satisfy background screening requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Current BMW Member Technician status or equivalent experience
- Prior completion of BMW technical training courses
- ASE certifications are a plus
We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $20 - $27 USD per hour .
