Your Mission

Join ClearEdge as a Senior Accountant where you will support the financial operations of a growing federal contracting company with multiple LLCs and dynamic business activities. This role ensures accuracy and compliance across all entities, maintaining financial integrity in alignment with GAAP, FAR, and DCAA requirements. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and can manage complex intercompany transactions, cost allocations, and reporting needs across multiple business units.

  • Experienced with accounting standards and complex intercompany transactions

A day in the life

  • Completing and reviewing full-charge bookkeeping and accounting functions across LLCs and related entities
  • Reconcile intercompany transactions and ensure accurate consolidation of financials
  • Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and month-end adjustments across multiple entities
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Manage indirect cost rate development (fringe, overhead, G&A) and ensure compliance with FAR and CAS
  • Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and billing for various federal/commercial contracts, across multiple entities
  • Generate and review invoices in compliance with contract terms
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis for each entity
  • Collaborate with managers to ensure accurate job costing and labor allocation
  • Assisting in payroll actives as needed

What we are expecting from you

  • A Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business, Accounting or Finance from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience is required
  • A minimum of eight (8) years of related professional experience is required
  • A working knowledge of systems including Unanet and Paycom
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and ability to learn additional company selected software with ability to adapt to changing software
  • Working knowledge of GAAP, Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
  • Experience with multi-entity accounting & financials

Nice to have

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification or in progress certification
  • Microsoft Office Specialist certification in Excel
