The Opportunity

Bring your accounting expertise to a global corporate finance function where the accuracy, completeness, and transparency of financial information matter. As a Senior Analyst, Global Corporate Accounting ; you will contribute to critical accounting and reporting activities across head office and global corporate functions while helping strengthen the quality, efficiency, and scalability of finance processes.

This permanent, full-time opportunity offers exposure to finance leaders, cross-functional projects, global reporting processes, and continuous improvement initiatives. Your Impact

  • Support and perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, analysis, and reporting deliverables.
  • Prepare, reconcile, and review balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely resolution of reconciling items.
  • Support the preparation, review, and analysis of multi-entity journal entries and intercompany transactions.
  • Analyze profit and loss statements to identify budget variances and record necessary provisions.
  • Conduct monthly foreign exchange gain and loss analysis for accounting, tax, and management purposes.
  • Prepare and produce financial reports essential for consolidation.
  • Support the tax department with financial analyses for tax provisions and reports.
  • Collaborate on special projects with key business units, including financial performance, intercompany billing, insurance, and internal audit.
  • Participate in initiatives that improve accounting activities and reporting quality while enhancing controls through automation, standardization, and better use of financial systems.
  • Support internal and external audit requirements by preparing documentation, responding to inquiries, and ensuring accounting records are complete, accurate, and well supported.
  • Apply your accounting knowledge to support compliance with internal policies, controls, and applicable accounting standards.

The Skills That Set You Apart

  • A university degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, together with a required CPA designation .
  • A minimum of five years of progressive experience in accounting, financial reporting, corporate accounting, or financial analysis.
  • A good understanding of financial reporting, month-end close, reconciliations, accruals, provisions, and intercompany accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, internal controls, and financial reporting processes.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Advanced Excel skills , with experience using Oracle ERP, consolidation tools, or reporting systems considered an asset.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience working in a global, multi-entity organization , considered an asset.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French , which is required; additional language proficiency is an asset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across functions and regions.

Compensation

  • AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $104,100 - $138,000
  • MB & ON: $95,000 - $130,800
  • NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $94,100 - $124,900
