  • Build storyboards and structure engaging learning journeys, translating source material into curated, learner-centred content.
  • Use a content-development framework to create engaging, effective learning content across formats - courses, presentations, videos, one-pagers, hands-on activities, and assignments.
  • Design learning experiences that support a variety of modalities - self-paced online training, virtual classroom training, in-person classroom training, or a blend of these.
  • Cultural awareness - design and adapt learning content so it lands effectively with a culturally diverse, global audience, not just a single-market one.
  • Translate complex or legal subject matter into engaging, accessible formats (e.g. MOOC-style courses), making dense content approachable without diluting accuracy.
  • Digital fluency - use e-learning authoring tools (e.g. Vyond, Articulate, Easygenerator) and AI-enabled tools to produce interactive, high-quality learning content efficiently.
  • Apply instructional design principles to ensure content is engaging, accessible, and aligned with business needs.
  • Evaluate learner feedback and prioritise updates to improve the experience for future learners.

Learning platform & systems management

  • Manage and maintain Workday Learning as the primary learning management system, ensuring content, assignments, and completions are tracked accurately.
  • Maintain training records for all training activity across the organisation.
  • Own day-to-day configuration and troubleshooting of the LMS to support a smooth learner experience.

Training delivery & facilitation

  • Deliver live training sessions and webinars, adapting facilitation style to different audiences and formats.
  • Facilitate classroom-based training where appropriate.
  • Coordinate scheduling and logistics for training delivery across regions and time zones.

Vendor & stakeholder management

  • Work with external learning vendors where applicable, managing content quality, delivery, and commercial terms.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to identify learning needs and translate them into effective learning solutions.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to key stakeholders on learning content, engagement, and outcomes.

Project & programme management

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, delivering high-quality work on time.

Reporting & continuous improvement

  • Maintain and share training reports and dashboards, using strong Excel skills to track completion, engagement, and effectiveness across all learning activity.
  • Stay current on Learning & Development trends, tools, and best practices, bringing new ideas into the organisation's learning approach.
