About the Position

The Staff Accountant plays a key role on PDI's General Ledger Accounting team, helping keep our financial reporting accurate, timely, and built on a solid foundation. This is a hands-on opportunity to sharpen your accounting fundamentals in a fast-growing, family-owned company — working alongside experienced senior accountants who are invested in your development, and gaining exposure to the kind of complex, project-based accounting work that comes with being a major player in construction and design.

Position Responsibilities

Reconcile general ledger accounts to verify information is complete and accurate.
Identify discrepancies in accounts and research them to resolution.
Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards, and recommend changes or entries when necessary.
Support month-end close processes
Take on special projects as needed, with exposure to PDI's broader finance initiatives.

Here’s What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
At least 1 year of related work experience with accounting responsibilities required.
Working knowledge of general accounting procedures and principles.
Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and demonstrate strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
Must be proficient with the Microsoft Office suite.
