Clinical Responsibilities

Interpret a broad range of diagnostic imaging studies including, but not limited to

Radiography (X-ray)

Computed Tomography (CT)

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)

Ultrasound

Fluoroscopy

  • Nuclear Medicine/PET-CT (as applicable based on subspecialty training)
  • Provide timely, accurate, and clinically relevant radiologic interpretations.
  • Collaborate with referring physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary care teams regarding imaging findings and treatment planning.
  • Participate in departmental call coverage and after-hours clinical responsibilities as assigned.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, accreditation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain appropriate clinical documentation and reporting standards within the electronic medical record and imaging systems.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency program.
  • Fellowship training in a radiology subspecialty preferred, but not required depending on departmental needs.
  • Board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology through the American Board of Radiology.
