About The Role

Your typical day will include: 

  • Supporting client engagements through quantitative analysis, research, report writing, and economic modelling, including macroeconomic forecasting, Computable General Equilibrium (CGE) modelling, Cost Benefit Analysis, Input-Output modelling, and econometric analysis.
  • Contributing to the development of proposals, presentations, and other client-facing materials.
  • Supporting business development, thought leadership, and marketing initiatives that strengthen and grow the Economic Advisory practice.
  • Engaging with clients and stakeholders through interviews, workshops, presentations, and surveys.
  • Providing guidance, mentoring, and quality assurance support to junior team members.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across Deloitte to bring together multidisciplinary insights and deliver impactful outcomes for clients.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you. You are ideally someone with

  • A postgraduate qualification in Economics, Data Science, Public Policy, or a related discipline.
  • Approximately 2-3 years' experience in economic consulting, policy, government, or a related analytical environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage workstreams and deliver high-quality, client-ready outputs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and apply sound judgement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging and presenting to a range of stakeholders.
  • A collaborative mindset and a willingness to support, coach, and develop others.
  • A genuine interest in economics and public policy, with a desire to create meaningful impact.
  • Strong initiative, accountability, and a proactive approach to professional growth and development.
