About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and organised individual to support information management and technology processes across Children and Family Services. The role involves coordinating Freedom of Information (FOI) requests in line with statutory requirements, maintaining accurate data and records, supporting data quality initiatives, and providing management information and technical support where required. Working closely with a range of partners and colleagues, you will help ensure services are delivered effectively to children and families while demonstrating flexibility, teamwork, and a commitment to supporting others.

About You

To apply for this post, you must be able to evidence in your application how you meet the following criteria

  • NVQ level 2 or equivalent, trained and proficient in MS Office with evidence of good written and spoken English.
  • Relevant experience in a data administration field.
  • Experience of working with spreadsheets, databases and web based systems and experience of working in a local authority or children and family environment.
  • Knowledge of The Freedom of Information Act and Data Protection legislation.
  • Highly numerate and competent in the use of Microsoft packages and the production of documents as required.
  • Excellent customer care and organisational skills with good Interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.
  • The ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative is essential alongside the ability to prioritise your own workloads and work to deadlines. You must be highly organised, methodical and meticulous regarding the application of data.
