We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Finance Analyst to join our high-performing team on a permanent basis in Singapore. The role will play a key part in supporting the financial management and reporting of our Asia investment platforms and associated entities.
About the Role
You will be responsible for supporting accurate and timely financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements, supporting business planning activities, and maintaining a strong financial control environment. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, outsourced finance service providers, auditors, tax advisors, and business leaders across the region to provide financial insights that support commercial decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Accounting
- Manage the monthly, quarterly, and half-yearly financial close and reporting processes for investment management and ownership entities across Asia.
- Prepare and review management reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow forecasts, and key performance metrics.
- Deliver high-quality variance analysis and provide meaningful insights into financial performance.
- Review work performed by outsourced finance providers, including journal entries, reconciliations, financial reporting packs, and month-end close activities.
- Review and support the preparation of statutory financial statements and consolidation reporting, ensuring compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Ensure all financial records and supporting documentation are accurate, complete, and audit-ready.
- Prepare and coordinate regulatory filings, including quarterly Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) submissions and annual Capital Markets Services Licence (CMSL) reporting requirements.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies as required.
Financial Controls & Governance
- Maintain a strong financial control framework and ensure compliance with Lendlease policies, accounting standards, and governance requirements.
- Conduct detailed reviews of general ledger and sub-ledger transactions, investigating significant movements and unusual items.
- Review balance sheet reconciliations and banking activities, ensuring timely resolution of outstanding items.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial processes, reporting efficiency, and data quality.
- Support internal and external audit requirements and assist with risk management activities.
- Contribute to the implementation of consistent finance policies, procedures, and best practices across the Asia business.
Business Partnering & Financial Analysis
- Support the preparation of five-year business plans, including profitability analysis, overhead forecasting, and cash flow projections.
- Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying risks, opportunities, and key business trends.
- Prepare ad hoc analysis, and management presentations as required.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will be a proactive and commercially minded finance professional with strong technical accounting capabilities and a passion for delivering high-quality financial outcomes.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree qualification in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.
- Professional accounting qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent .
- Minimum 5-7 years' experience in financial accounting, auditing, or commercial finance, preferably within real estate, funds management, investment management, or a multinational environment.
- Strong understanding of IFRS, financial reporting, consolidation, and statutory compliance requirements.
- Experience managing external finance service providers and working with auditors and tax advisors.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret financial results and provide meaningful commercial insights.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of MAS regulatory reporting requirements and Singapore statutory compliance would be highly regarded.
